Every cellar door in this collection is a real, currently operating winery that we verified against its Google Business profile — the star rating, review count, photos, address and phone number on each listing come straight from the source, time-stamped so you know when we checked. Emails and social links are taken from each winery's own website. Tasting formats and fees change often, so we deliberately point you to the winery's site for bookings rather than quoting prices that may date.

The Hunter Valley is Australia's oldest wine region and its benchmark for aged Semillon and medium-bodied Shiraz — the greatest concentration of cellar doors in the country, two hours from Sydney. Mudgee offers the same quality at country pace, with a strong organic movement and generous reds.
