The stay
The cottages are all glass, plywood and breeze — solar-conscious, rainwater-fed, and angled so the forest does the decorating. Decks come with hanging chairs and visiting goannas; kayak the Broadwater or do absolutely nothing.

The glassy lakes spread in every direction — houseboat water we cover via Bulahdelah’s fleet — and the park’s ocean side holds Mungo Brush and the lighthouse hamlet of Seal Rocks, 40 minutes away.
