The cabins

The cabins are honest mountain accommodation — timber walls, comfortable beds, kitchenettes and verandahs looking over lawns to the ranges. Nothing minimalist, nothing fussy; the kind of place that smells like woodsmoke by 6pm in winter.

Around Mount Victoria

Blackheath’s cafes and Govetts Leap are ten minutes back up the highway, Victoria Pass drops to the historic pubs of Hartley, and the Glow Worm Tunnel is a fine half-day run via Lithgow.
