The setting
Bobs Farm is Port Stephens’ market-garden belt — sandy farmland behind Anna Bay, close to everything but out of the holiday-park bustle. It’s a classic animals-and-space farm stay in a region otherwise dominated by resorts.
Around the farm
Sandboard the Stockton dunes at Anna Bay (the tour depots are minutes away), cruise with the resident dolphins from Nelson Bay, climb Tomaree Head early for the state’s best coastal panorama, and let the kids finish at the bay’s ankle-deep beaches like Shoal Bay and Little Beach.
