On the water
The boats are new-generation: full kitchens, big glass, decks built for long lunches on the move. No licence is required, and the Murray’s wide, slow bends make it the easiest big-boat water in the country.
Around Moama
You share the river with Echuca’s paddle steamers and not much else — sandy beaches, forest anchorages and the twin towns’ clubs and restaurants when you want land. It is a newer arrival, so book direct and early for holidays.
