The Central Coast’s best-kept overnight secret might be this tiny house in the Matcham valley — a leafy pocket of acreages and gardens ten minutes behind Terrigal Beach. It is small in every way except its rating: a perfect 5.0 on Google (13 reviews and counting).

The setting
The name is the itinerary: a timber deck with a fire pit on the lawn, an outdoor spa under the trees, and a cleverly fitted tiny house behind it — full kitchen with a garden-view window, a snug sleeping loft and bunks. Matcham itself is all birdsong, horse paddocks and winding lanes.
Around Matcham
Terrigal’s beach and the Skillion headland are about ten minutes east, Erina’s shops the same going west, and the rainforest cascades of Somersby Falls make an easy 25-minute detour on the way home.
