The Woods Farm is the farm stay most NSW families can already picture: rambling paddocks, farm animals, space to roam — with the small twist that ten minutes down the road lies Jervis Bay and the whitest sand on the east coast. Nearly five hundred Google reviews make it the most vouched-for stay in this collection.

The setting
Tomerong is the bay’s quiet hinterland village — bush blocks and farmland just off the highway, close enough to hear about the beach crowds without joining them. The farm’s rustic, animal-filled grounds are the point: this is a stay children talk about for years.
Around the farm
Huskisson’s wharf, pubs and dolphin cruises are 10 minutes east; Hyams Beach and the Booderee National Park beaches a few minutes more. Time beach mornings early in summer — the bay’s car parks fill — and keep an afternoon for the white-sand walk between Greenfield and Chinamans.
