Diamond Bay Reserve is a quieter alternative to The Gap just a few minutes up the coast — a rugged clifftop reserve with walking tracks along the edge of the headland and far fewer crowds, even in whale season.
What to Expect
- Walking track along the clifftop with several informal viewing spots
- Small free car park at the reserve entrance
- No facilities on site — bring water, there’s no cafe or toilets here
- Uneven, unfenced sections in places, so keep an eye on kids and stay back from the edge
Because it’s less developed than The Gap, Diamond Bay rewards a bit of a walk with a much quieter outlook over the same stretch of migration route.
Location
Military Rd, Vaucluse NSW 2030.
