The route
From Windsor the road runs up the Colo River gorge and settles into rhythm: forest straights, the famous “10 Mile” of linked corners near the Putty halfway point, and the gentle descent into Bulga and the vineyards at Broke — back-door entry to Hunter wine country.

- The Grey Gum Cafe (open Thu–Sun) is the ride’s institutional pit stop — check hours before relying on it.
- Fuel properly at Windsor or Singleton; the middle is a fuel desert.
